Some places say that they have great food and service, we let our customers speak for us.Posted On Pitch.comA neighborhood mainstay, Dirk.s has been going strong for 22 years. There.s no mistaking its status as a sports bar, but the lived-in charm and quirky individuality of the place keep it from appearing generic. Large and spacious with light wood tones throughout, Dirk.s offers space for patrons to relax at the bar or venture off their stools for pool, darts and shuffleboard. Dirk.s also has a large, diverse food menu (it's known for its Reubens), and it's solid for sports watching, either in the large party room or at any one of the dining and cocktail tables spread throughout. Posted On Yelp.com"[...]we decided to do a Yelp search for bars in the area, and Dirk's was one of the options that popped up. We figured we might as well give it a shot, as you never know when you might find your new favorite watering hole!" --Brandi C. Kansas City, MO Posted On Dine.comGood food, cheap drinks and an even better crowd, especially during football season. Pretty good location too, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, in the fairly quiet parts of the north, but not too far to where you'd get lost on your way home at night, unless you live in NEBRASKA:):):).... --Review #4 June 2, 2004 Posted On KansasCity.CitySearch.comAll of their burgers are a good choice. The Spinach-Artichoke dip is king. Their drink specials are good also. THursday night after 7pm is all you can eat tacos and they are pretty good. But the Bad Boy Burger is my favorite. They also have these fries called Dirk's Delight, which are (unspicey) curley fries with nacho cheese on them, sour cream, bacon crumbles and green onions. GREAT! -- jhartman19 March 3, 2004 Do you want to add your review on here? Just let the bartender or waitress know. |
